Metal Content of Alloy Steel

Hello

On Solidworks, I used alloy steel for one part. However, to conclude, I need the content of solidworks alloy steel in different metals.

For example: 75% aluminum, 24% iron, 1% carbon.

Thank you in advance.

Hello

If the question is how to create a material in SolidWorks, see here:

http://help.solidworks.com/2012/French/SolidWorks/cworks/t_custom_material_creating.htm

Simply change the name and mechanical properties in SolidWorks to create more than one.

Thanks .PL, but what I would like to know is how to display the different metal content of Solidworks alloy steel...

Hello

SW does not support its information.

It is "content" with mechanical properties.

Yes, as I said, you can only change the mechanical properties. So we have to find these properties to assign them to the different materials, and we can make the nuance appear in the name of the material, that's all

Hello

You can add custom properties to a material (In the Material Editing menu). However, these properties are not used by sw

The SelectMaterial tool of myCADtools allows the material selection to retrieve these properties as properties of the part or configuration

So you can then use these properties automatically in notes or in your cartridge

Kind regards
