Laser Cut Text

Good evening

I'm looking to make a sheet metal part to cut in laser, so far no problem ;-).

I would like to be able to cut out Japanese letters, i.e. write words in Japanese on them, I tried with fonts but it remains text in French. I already have the symbols I want in .png images. I attach as an example the type of thing I want to do but written vertically in the "Japanese" way.

please help me

Kind regards.

Hello

Have you searched for a font on font download sites:

http://www.1001freefonts.com/

You then install the font and insert it into a sketch

You have to install the Japanese language in windows, either through Windows updates, or directly on the Microsoft website.

Once installed and activated, all you have to do is copy and paste a sentence in French from google translate and you're done.

Otherwise the image you have there (if the text is good), you pass it in SW with an outline detection and SW will transpose it into a sketch, or via another software like adobe or Inkskape to get out of the DXF ...

I'm sending you back your clean file which with vectorization will work better

thank you Tomalam,

With a bit of research I used this site: https://www.google.fr/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=translate+name+en+japanese&revid=1507809464

To find the words with the right handwriting, and with the Sketch Text tool, I use the "@Meiryo" font that I found through Excel and place my text vertically. to write horizontally you have to take "Meiryo".

Thank you all for your help.

Kind regards.
