@gt22 you invert the curves that's why!
When I look at your image, the sketches are not selected in the right box compared to the one in @bart

@ bart you are in which version
for me nothing to do I always end up with an elbow instead of the collar ;-(
don't understand
My profile always follows the trajectory
@+ ;-(
Re
Your profile Box 1 Tone Sketch with folds
Your profile to follow box 2 Your circle
and not the other way around!
@+
I'm in 2014 sp2
If you follow my image to the letter, it's sure to work.
1-Modify your sketch as on my first image.
2- remove the function, and I say about the deletion!
3-restart the function by filling in your sketch profile and your trajectory
4-Don't forget the curvature field! (see my last photo)
well I'm really the KING of C.. S
Friday may be ???????
Yes Error between profile and trajectory
I have my room but he tells me it's impossible to unfold
why I don't know
@+ ;-(
Fill in box number 3 Cylindrical/conical bodies and fill in the sketch line that is on your profile as in the photo I sent
Tkt we all go through problems!! ;)
@gt22 when editing the unfolded the fixed face is not defined correctly, it must be pointed at an edge of the cylindrical face at the level of the opening.
@+
Do we believe in you GT22!!!
Will you make it!!
At worst wait for Monday lol^^
Well I'm not going to leave you alone GT22, but I can't do it in sw12sp5 either.
1- I don't have box 3 of Bart's image.
2- the unfolded is circular for me....
So use my edit unfolded method to change the fixed face....
@coyote: it works....!!
For me he doesn't want any fixed face
it's killing me
@+ ;-(
@gt22 as I wrote above, select an edge on the cylindrical side at the aperture!
@+
I also tried but nothing nothing
He decided to mess with my nerves today
@+ ;-)
Here is your ex GT22 (removing the sketches that I don't use).
With Bart and Coyote's manipulations of course.
Well kids, calm down, get in single file and listen =)
Solidworks 2012 does not support unfolded sheet metal scanning.
That's why the versions have evolved.
Otherwise there is an add-in that handles complex folds
LOGOPRESS, of course, is not free.
Good luck!!!
Otherwise update your solidworks at least in 2012 sp5
@ Bart your message takes a weight off my shoulders

so no matter how hard I try, it's useless
PHEW Thank you Bart
@+ ;-)
Yes, apart from an upgrade, you won't be able to do your unfolding.
Unless I send it to you:p
Sorry for you! ;)
