Folded sheet metal and corner

Hello

 

I try to design a folded sheet metal with a lot of folds.

I have a problem when making some folds.

Indeed, I do my fold function, then I make a 45° cut via the corner function.

The problem: when I insert my second fold on my second side (see attached file), my function gets wrong since it crosses the first fold, logical.

So I insert a new corner at 45°, so the folds are no longer touching, but my function remains in error!

 

Do you have a solution for me to make my piece? Currently, it is feasible without problem but the fact that I have errors in my design tree bothers me a lot...

Hello

 

Try to remove the 2 functions that caused problems and redo them.

Maybe you won't have the mistake anymore.

Using Toloe Folded on Edge

then edit the profile see image

before validating the function

You have to do the 2 folds at the same time by selecting the 2 edges.

The 45° cut will take care of itself.

The worst part of the story: I already have it at the end of the day but for this example, there is no way to remember...

Hello

There is no way to edit the folded wing shape on SW? This way you can integrate the 45° cut into the sketch

@Tomalam: Yes, that's what jfaradon was explaining, it works but in the end it's quite "tinkering" and I was pretty sure that it could be done automatically.

But thank you all the same:)
