Tolerance on Angle Chamfer

Hello

I am faced with this difficulty of being able to introduce a tolerance on the angle. It's a chamfer dimension function and when I use the text input boxes around the dimension can't bind the tolerance after the angle without creating a conjoined text

Hello

I don't know of a standard that allows you to tolerate the distance and the angle (after I only use ISO) under CATIA.

Either you use two sides (a distance and an angle)

Either you create a Text that you link in position to the chamfer dimension (right click on the text).

Note for the ± symbol , I type it in Word and paste it in CATIA

Hello

just a trick, to insert special characters in text boxes under Catia, there is an icon, just click on it and it offers us some characters:

otherwise keyboard shortcuts save time, under Catia or other (±:Alt+0177, Ø:Alt+0216 for example)

Thank you for the time taken to try to answer my post. Unfortunately, this is not the expected response. The introduction of symbols is not the problem. In fact, you can see it in my examples.

The problem is that when I use the chamfer dimension function with the dimension x angle option, I can't  apply a tolerance on the angle so that I have

0.2±0.1 x 30°±2° and not 0.2±0.1 ±2°x 30°

I know, I just wanted to give a supplement to Franck's answer.

Personally, to dimension a chamfer, I only dimension the length and I add the angle "x30°±2°" in the text following the dimension (text that you edit by clicking on the red arrow to the right of the dimension or in its properties). It 's not very robust but  it allows you to manage everything in the same rating. On the other hand, to use this method, you have to be sure that the angle will not change because the angle of the dimension will not follow the 3D.
