Polygon sheet metal

By selecting "segment angle" and setting it to the minimum (5°) I get to 18mm....

We're getting closer!

And by clicking on Lg of the segment, I can't type + 4mm so I end up with folds of 3.8... too small. :/

With the number of folds?

With the number of folds, it doesn't work either...

On the other hand........ I SUCCEEDED =)

I chose "straight tolerance", I set it to 0.1mm and I lowered my bending radius to 1.6 for 2 mm thick.

I went through a transition fold =)

Additional info:

I had drawn my complete profile. And that's where Sw didn't understand.

I just had to draw the arc of the circle, so I can choose the length of the segment, to then add my edge folds....

There you go!

Thank you all! =)

So, just to understand, your segment length of 10 is to the neutral fiber?

Not exactly....

I get a 10mm outer crease

Do you know why in a sketch, you can't make a polygon of more than 40 sides?

Probably a limit made by the designer?

In any case, it's written in black and white in the help up to the 2016 version: 3 to 40 sides. http://help.solidworks.com/2016/French/SolidWorks/sldworks/HIDD_DVE_SKETCH_POLYGON.htm

Note, already with 40 sides, we are not far from unmanageable.
