Hello
I just switched sw 2021 standard to sw2023 standard, there is no longer toolbox in this version??
What is the procedure?

Thank you

Hello
Is the supplement activated?

For me the toolbox is only with a premium version. Not in standard version

I too would have said, SOLIDWORKS Toolbox with SOLIDWORKS Premium or SOLIDWORKS Professional.

Hello

I'll add if you have licenses that are more than 10 years old, the SW Office level is enough for Toolbox (on the 2022, not checked on the 2023 which is being tested).

Yes I have the impression that it is no longer available with sw2023...
Very annoying to open my old files!!

Yes, but there is no Toolbox in the add-ins

If it is not there, it is because there was an error in the selection of components during installation or because your licenses do not allow you to obtain Toolbox

Yes but with sw 2021 standard I had access.
so I can't open my old assemblies anymore

I don't remember SW changing anything about the mini license to have Toolbox.
After from a SW point of view and from all those who have been using it for years, we generally advise against working directly with Toolbox files.
Extract your library yes but in general not direct use in ASMs.

Thank you for your answer

So if you had it before, it's because you certainly have a higher license than the standard.
I'm leaning more towards an installation problem.

No I just had the standard, I did a new installation but no change.

@Cyril.f , I confirm on a standard 2020 no access possible to the toolbox.
Are you sure @loic.villemont that you didn't have a version higher than the standard?
And I confirm toolbox= to be avoided!

@loic.villemont Installing with an administrative image or via the installation manager directly?

Bjr,
Since I'm on SW Pro I have toolbox the problem is that std licenses can't open a part from a tolbox in clear my colleagues can't use my tolbox components. I am therefore obliged to create tolbox screws then save them in step or other and to place them in my ASM so that it can be used by the whole BE.
So I rarely use it.
I have created a library of most of the components we need (screws, nuts, pins, keys ect...) and it is this library that is accessible by the whole BE.
May the force be with you.

Is it possible to have a ZIP file of this library that you created?
Thank you

Hello
If it can help you I download you to have screws and other, because on my side I had the same problem so I had made the screw and component myself

Screws and components (Link valid for 30 days)

Otherwise if you have access there is the Visiativ library (For myCADtools users):
https://mycad.visiativ.com/centre-de-ressource/produits?categories[0]=14241&categories[1]=14304&categories[2]=14302&categories[3]=14300&categories[4]=14309&categories[5]=14322&categories[6]=14279&categories[7]=14280&categories[8]=14298&categories[9]=14299&categories[10]=14311&categories[11]=14294&categories[12]=14242&categories[13]=14306&categories[14]=14308&biblio
You can find a lot of screws there.

Be careful with libraries in downloads (whatever they are), they are not always exact (material-dimensions-standards...) they must be checked.
In general, you quickly realize that it's easier to create them yourself, if only the time you're going to spend updating the custom properties...
