Thick line when converting SLW to DWG

Hello

I'm facing a small pagination problem. when I convert a MeP SLDDRW to DWG (a simple one saved as) when opening the file by autocad I end up with the lines in overthickness.

Do you have a solution to avoid reopening the hundred plan, removing extra thickness in autodac and re-registering?

Thank you in advance

Hi @ Gerald

Isn't it the thickness of the lines of the layers in AutoCAD that screws up the strand?

Hello.

When you "save as" "dwg" with Solidworks, in the export option, change the line styles to "Autocad Standard Style".

Hi @gt22

It's the option Show hide the thickness of the lines that seems to be a problem.

if I understand your link I should be in export R2002 and not 2004

@PhilipeB this option is already validated.

Hello, I agree with GT22 I also switch to R2000-2002.

Personally I record the part directly in 2D (less problem).

If it's a set, I record it as a piece and then as a dwg.

There is an error in the answers due to a lack of precision in my Question.

I'm looking for a problem on a 2D DWG starting from a Solidworks drawing file.

when the 2D Solidworks is converted by saved in DWG it shows the line outline that is removed in autocad thanks to the line thickness key (image attached earlier)

And then once saved in the right state by AutoCAD when opening the file is readable.

when the 2D solidworks is saved as pdf I don't have this coarse line thickness.

What is the origin of the problem and can we correct it directly from solidworks or pdm. And here I'm talking about hundreds of plans to redo.....

Look at this link

https://www.developpez.net/forums/d996677/autres-langages/langages-fonctionnels/lisp/autocad-changer-epaisseur-d-calque/

for the plan already converted on autocad

For the origin of the problem before conversion see the export options

and test the best

DXF/DWG File Export Options

You can set file export options when you export SOLIDWORKS drawing documents as .dxf or .dwg files.

To select these options when saving a file as a .dxf or .dwg file :

In the Save As dialog box, click Options , and then click  Save .

General Options

VersionSelect the target AutoCAD  ® version.
FontSelect one of the following options:

Standard AutoCAD only

Uses the drawingfontmap.txt mapping file.

True Type

Line StylesSelect one of the following options:

Styles standard AutoCAD

Changes SOLIDWORKS line fonts to AutoCAD stock line types. For AutoCAD R2000 and later, it also matches the line font weight to the nearest AutoCAD line weight value.

I didn't manage to get the desired result but the GT22 video remains the closest to the necessary parameters

a small up, for thick lines did not appear after the 2000 2002 version

so to solve this display problem correctly, an R14 recording remains the appropriate solution
