Hello. The trihedron appears in assemblies when you right-click on a part that is not fixed. technically and by default the first part of an assembly is fixed so you can't move it with the trihedron you have to release it, you click right and normally in the list you have "free"
You can also see which parts are fixed in your assembly by looking in the creation tree on the fixed parts you have an f in parentheses.
Here's hoping that this answers your question, if your room is free and you don't have the trihedron by right-clicking on it then it may be a bug but personally it never happened to me
You can customize your context menu too (at the very bottom of the menu)
Personally, I have a different menu between the display fan and the design tree
Thank you for your quick answers, but unfortunately they don't solve my problem. Even on a freed and unconstrained part, the trihedron doesn't always appear in the context menu but sometimes it does. it is incomprehensible.
same problem on 2012 and 2017 :-(
Hello, to move with the trihedron ==>right-click on the piece to be moved and then choose "move with the trihedron"
may the force be with you.
If you right-click and expand your menu with the double down arrow, is "move with trihedron" checked?
Hello
Stupid question, but is the part you select for movement really on the first level in your father assembly? If this is not the case and the sub-assembly in which this part is located is fixed or totally constrained, then it is normal that the displacement function is not available.
Kind regards
@ Pascal: my trihedron is still active in my menu but doesn't appear tjrs.
@d.Roger: I did the test with fix/release, on parts without any constraints and I still didn't understand why it is sometimes accessible and others not.
Hello
Do you select your part to move in the construction tree or in the display window?
Can you put a screenshot of your tree?
Kind regards
Isn't it a graphics card problem by Hassard?
give us your pc config if possible and SW

Hello d.roger
I've tried both ways, the result is the same and my assembly is only one level.

The problem occurs much less often as I get better at sld.
So I think it was a problem constraints that had to be present but that I didn't see.
Thank you all for your help.
