Types of EPDM Clients

Hi all

After several searches, I managed to find the different EPDM clients but dating back several years:

EPDM CAD Editor, EPDM Contributor, EPDM Contributor Web, EPDM Viewer

These different customers offer different benefits depending on the need, the price also goes accordingly.

However, I am now looking for the types of customers for EPDM but 2015 version.

Does anyone have the information?

Thank you,

Well there are now 3 types:

SOLIDWORKS Enterprise PDM Editor:  Supports working with all file types. Users can add and modify files.  CAD add-ins allow access to EPDM functions within supported CAD applications.

SOLIDWORKS Enterprise PDM Contributor:  Users can perform the some actions as with the Editor license but add-ins are not enabled.

SOLIDWORKS Enterprise PDM Viewer:  Allows read-only access to vaults, users cannot add or modify files.

Oops, I was wrong in the type of answer.... as well as in the format....

I make a monologue, but to be cleaner:

There are now 3 types (source www.javelin-tech.com):

EPDM Contributor, EPDM Editor and EPDM Viewer!

Hello

We are currently studying the implementation of ePDM.

I attach a view of an internal presentation of the project.

She presents the principle.

I advise you to get in touch with your dealer.

We are not going to use viewer licenses because they are distributed by 5.

The contributor and viewer licenses are floating. This allows several users to use them.

Oh great thank you @Remrem, I should have waited for your answer before frantically clicking on buttons:)

In our case, we will probably have 35 EPDM Editor licenses (for the Design Office), 50 EDPM  Contributor licenses (for the ancillary services that are part of the Workflow) and 10 EPDM Viewer licenses (mainly for the workshop)

Our design office is not the same size as yours...

Glad I was able to help you.

Are contributor licenses floating? Hmm, that's good news!

FYI, if like us you have PCs in the workshop on XP, it's not compatible with the viewer:

@flegendre

Yes, but they are nominative, right? If I have 35 people in the Design Office, each logged in on his PC, I must have 35 Editor licenses?
