Hello
I want to display the total surface area in m² of my sheet metal on its drawing. However, it is displayed in mm² regardless of the unit of measurement settings I set up (plan and room parameters). Do you know what's holding you back?
I'm on solidworks 2019 SP3. Thank you

Hello
It seems to me that it is not possible to change this unit because it comes from the welded build table...

It is also possible to try your 3D side to meter
and see what's going on in your drawing
for your surface indication in m 2
or create a sup box in your cartouche
in which the surface area will be in m2

I would have liked to keep the rating in mm, and only pass the surface in m².
Thank you
Hello
That's what I understood, but it doesn't seem to me that it's possible.

Hello
Yes, it is possible to use units in mm2 and to have the surface area on the side of a sheet in m2 by tinkering a little
To do this, you need to:
1- Create an Area property and a superficie_flanc_tole property
2- Create an equation superficie_m2=Area /1000000
3- In a drawing note retrieve the property: $PRPSHEET:"superficie_flanc_tole" m2
Attached are my SW files. It's 2017
