Sketched use in multiple projects

Hi all

I specify I am on solidWorks 2014. I am asking you because I can't find a solution to my problem:

I made a logo in a project for laser cutting.

I would like to copy this sketch to put it on all the pieces that I need to put this logo. The problem when I copy this sketch into another project is that I feel like it's losing constraints and I can't get it where I want to make the cut on the part.

Another problem: I would like to be able to increase or decrease the size of this sketch (in the form of a scale for example) to make more or less large logos while keeping the proportions.

thank you for your help / tutorial

Good evening

You have to go through AMHA blocks because they are autonomous files but can be easily integrated anywhere.

Kind regards

Good evening

Or consider importing an Illustrator path.

Hello, subject covered several times;)

2 solutions:

- Zozo's using blocks

- mine, the stencil one, by making your logo on a piece and then you add a scaling (which allows you to occasionally make a family of pieces with different formats, especially if you need them in your assembly at different sizes). And then I create a sketch to retrieve all the outlines with Convert Entities. You can also add an automatic constraint to facilitate removal in the assembly.

When I transfer to the part I do a 0.1mm material removal the goal being to have the trace for the dwg / machining.

If you are using the BOM system, remember to "deactivate the part for BOM" and hide it once the transfer is done.

Kind regards

Hello

thank you for your answers,

I managed to do something with the block but it's true that for the tracking of the scales of the different logo sizes it's not easy

Could you specify your method? I made the part in a sketch but I don't understand how to use convert entities? If you could go into a little more detail it would be great

Thank you very much
