Hello
I created a variable A, I would like to use it in an assembly constraint distance, but nothing to do. I'm reposting my question because it didn't appear.
Thank you for your help

Indeed, to the creation of a constraint, you cannot directly link a variable.
2 solutions:
- As proposed by @Ac Cobra: go through the equation panel;
- or edit by double clicking on the dimension line (and not on the value) to display a small panel, where by typing "=" in the value box, a small menu will be activated on the right and proposes, in particular, the available variables.
Hello
For me too, you have to go through the equations by creating your variable A in the "Global variables" and put in "equations - first level" the name of your dimension with the Name column and point to your variable A in the "Value" column (see screenshot)
You can also double-click the distance rating, delete the value, and select the variable from the menu.
