! Thread representation values that change!

Hello everyone,

Recently, on all our workstations (SW2016 SP3), we have noticed a recurring problem with the use of the "Thread Representation" function.
In some multi-configuration files (not all ?!?), when you switch from one config to another, the values of Ø and thread length entered at creation change in a completely wacky way.

I have a file in PJ that presents the case of values that change.

If you are potentially affected by this problem, by opening this file you should realize it.

To do this, in the Feature Manager, find the thread functions which are under Outer CRN Screws, Inner CRN Screws, and FON Screws.
(I renamed the thread functions with the values I entered initially.)

Locate the values, then switch to another config (750 Gold or Titanium)

If the values change or SW shows you errors on the thread functions, you are affected by this bug.

In this case, you need to run a patch.

Fix that I will attach in the next message with the (very simple) procedure to get it through.

Here is the fix and procedure:

Copy and run this file (SolidWorks closed).

Answer the questions (read the decompression directory)

At the end of the installation, you can clear the unzip directory and its contents (default: C:\swdist).

Have a good weekend.

Hello

I actually have an error that is created in the CRN ext Vis when I switch from one configuration to another... But the rest is not a problem for me. 9:15 a.m.

And if you pass the patch, no more problem?

FYI, this patch comes from Axemble/Visiativ.

Since the fix, no more worries.
