Variable in MEP cartridge

EDIT

Hello @ all

The troublemaker having been blackened, I deleted my message and put away my funeral shotgun.

Next!  ;-)   ;-)

Hello

Have you tried Concatenation in MyCad's smart properties? I did a test like this

  • Creating the property for the file name (check hidden)

  • Concatenation
  •

Good evening @ i will survive

Thanks for the information but I don't  have My CAd

Kind regards

Hello zozo,

Have you solved your problem?

Yannick

We will try to separate the problems.
The editor is just a mask that allows you to fill in properties more or less automatically or by limiting the choices from a list.
We'll save it for last once the rest is assimilated.

We create properties what we want, when we want.
The advantage of having them in the .dot is consistency.

The properties are case and accent-sensitive: Matter<>Matter<>Matter<>Matter.

A property of the model (prt or asm) is called "$PRPSHEET:nom_de_la_propriété", a property of the drawing is called "$PRP:nom_de_la_propriété". We put the text in a note that we place in the background plan (right button somewhere on the sheet / edit the background).

To know what goes into the model or the mep, it's a bit of logic (material/treatment/designation is the part; index is the mep).

To see what is used in a title block, you have to edit the background map and either the note is displayed or you have to hover over the supposed location of the text with the mouse and right-click/edit the text in the window.

I put in PJ a batch of prt/asm/drw files that work together. It's basic but it works well.

Hello @ stefbeno

I have already explained the property management part in the drawing.

I think that for this part it's OK.

Do you confirm @zozo_mp

Hello @Stefbeno and @Yannick.little

Well no I can't get out of it.   :-(

I will give you the details of what I cannot do tomorrow.

Thank you for your support

Kind regards

Good evening

For property forms there are the files:

- *.prtprp   for shares

- *.asmprp for ASMs

- *.drwprp for MEPs

The only problem I can't find them! In what repertoire are they found? The search under the Windows manager sends me to protect pangolins.

It's weird, isn't it!

I tried to create a property file but I don't see where or how to save it.

Here I am going to proceed step by step (it must be a very simple thing, eh! Sir)

Kind regards

Hello@stefbeno

Thanks for the batch of files PRT/ASM/DRW.   ;-) ;-)

On the other hand, how can it work if you don't have the property files because in an AS3D tutorial they talk about these files.

I'm a bit of a coward, something escapes me.

Kind regards

As stefbeno specified , I advise you to

Open another conversation for property  forms if the initial question has been resolved.

I think we have explained everything about the notes related to the properties

So the files I provided are autonomous, they don't use the form:  you fill in the fields in the file's properties.

The prp files are created by the form editor.
It's a separate program to launch from the Windows start menu:

If you don't get away with it, I suggest that you open another conversation.

Hello @Stefbeno

Thank you for these clarifications but with the files you have graciously provided me it must be more than enough for my needs.

Thanks again for the files, I really appreciate ;-)

Kind regards
