I downloaded the free version of DRAFTSIGHT installed on a single workstation everything works but on a 2012 R2 server no copy and paste function.
Could the pro mult-iicence version solve this problem. DRAFTSIGHT version.

I don't think the paid version solves this problem because to my knowledge it's not a limitation of the free version and it looks like a bug.
What exactly do you mean by "no copy and paste function"? It doesn't work either:
- with the mouse> right-click copy and then paste
- with the keyboard shortcuts CTRL C then CTRL V
- with the Edit Copy and Paste menu

Whatever the way to do the copy and paste, nothing happens, hence the conclusion that copy and paste does not work.
I actually installed the software on my PC everything works bine.
Can we conclude that this software does not work on a server?

You can try repairing the installation or installing another older version perhaps.
