Emptying a Model in Solidworks

Hi everyone!!

I have a 3D model in SM made in smoothing thanks to 3 sketches on 3 planes // .

The model is full, and I would like the same one in empty space with a skin thickness of 5mm compared to the current outer skin.

Do you know if there's a function for that in SW??

Thank you in advance!!

Hello

Yes, there is the shell function which is there to hollow out the parts. If it doesn't work, you can create a plane offset by 5mm in relation to a wall and reuse the 3 sketches by shifting them by 5 mm and then remove the material.

By using Surface Blending, we have a surface at the level of the profiles, but it is of course hollowed out on the inside.

Hello

In fact, I too am facing the same problem and  I am desperately looking for a solution that is really suitable. I've tried almost everything but nothing works. So, please, if you have found the effective solution to solve this problem, be kind and share. Thank you first.
