@ Ronald
if your files are rotten at the base not much to do
where does this file come from, no way to get a copy under another extension?
post it on the wire

That's it, I managed to install it (I loaded it from another link) I took a rogue (websearches) in passing.
The result is not satisfactory (see photo).
where does your file come from
It's a file you took from the web
it's not confidential post the file or the links to get it
there is someone HERE who will find you a walkthrough
Your story doesn't seem to be very clear

Draftsight also does not allow you to view files from Windows Explorer.
We're going to get there!!!!!!!!
If you can open your file via Draftsight
If so, just take a screenshot
to save this capture as an image
and there you will be able to watch as you want under W7

I tried the two links you gave me. Yesterday's and this morning's.
This morning's one was corrupted (blocked by my anti-virus). The second one worked but with a rogue.
What I want to do is very simple: I want in the Windows Explorer viewing window to be able to see the dxf files that I export to my laser subcontractor and be able to identify them quickly without having to import the dxf into TopSolid to view them (see attachment).
Ronald
Of course I open it. Except that when you have 200 or 300 dxf. It's going to be a hot workout
so your files are basically made via top solid
so look at this
http://www.modelage-fasquelle.fr/espace-client/
and tell me what's happening

I know, it installs with the software.
You can only import TopSolid "Packages".
The problem is as follows:
You are designing a 300-piece sheet metal project.
You unfold your sheets, you convert to DXF, you send to the subcontractor.
Two years later you take over the project for an after-sales service. To go very quickly, you don't go back to TopSolid to recommend, you slip your parts into an email and that's it.
But first I like to see my pieces to be sure.
Another possible case, I am on leave (I am alone at the BE, we are a very small company), my colleague workshop manager can recognize the parts from the network and he can order them.
Ronald
Hello
FYI I only have the files with the dwg extension that are displayed at home, it doesn't work with dxf.
for me in general all parts has its own code
so if all parts have its own code
I don't see where you can go wrong
who of + is if to keep a visual
An image of the part can be made via screenshots with its laser function code
so the problem is solved

Hello
@Mathieu ANGER
That's what I explained in my previous post!
I don't think there is any software that integrates the visualization of DXF files into Windows Explorer.
A+
@gt22 sorry for me it's not solved.
Thank you @EricR.
I'll leave the discussion open just in case.
This is also what I indicated in my first post, a priori not possible for DXF...
Hello
I have Draftsight installed, and it only works with dwgs, not with dxfs...
