Hi all
I try to make a video capture to show the use of automatic stitching.
I follow everything that is written in the help: http://help.solidworks.com/2014/french/SolidWorks/sldworks/HIDD_RECORDVIDEO.htm
But I get a video that lasts 3 seconds and at accelerated speed (my manipulation lasts about 10 seconds).
Could you help me?
Thank you!
Hello
In the recording options, you can choose the number of frames per second (7.5 by default). It seems to me that if you record at 7.5 frames per second, your player will then play it back at 24 frames / s so the video is 3 times faster.
You can also adjust the playback speed to speed up or decrease the speed of your animation.
These two parameters would have to be checked and the calculations redone.

Hi Aurélien,
You can take a screenshot of your animation bar please

Hello
Can you put the link to the help page in full? Are you talking about animation?
I'm thinking of a problem with the video encoding driver.
@dargaud.antony, I just tested with 24 frames/sec and it gives me the same...!
@mcordero, you'll find the image attached
@.PL, exactly, the link has been cut: http://help.solidworks.com/2014/french/SolidWorks/sldworks/HIDD_RECORDVIDEO.htm
Your codec story is interesting... I have put below the ones I have at my disposal

@Aurélien: mcordero was asking for the animation bar in the SolidWorks window, not the options.
If you choose another Codec (Full frames or other) is it the same problem?
@gt22, I didn't understand your sentence
@.PL, I only have this as a bar....
And I tried all 3 but I have the same problem
I don't know if your problem comes from the codec, but try to install and use the attached codecs which for me have a good quality/image size ratio.
For your problem, send me a screenshot of the animation bar below the graphics window if you can, I'd like to understand better.

Try to put at least 25 frames per second, and it could solve your problem: by default the video players play at 25fps.
Attached is a screenshot of what we would like to see at your home with .PL

@mcordero, I get this message by selecting your codec:
I actually didn't understand for the bar :), here is mine:

And here's the kind of video I get (attachment)

Indeed, this is the disadvantage of this codec, you have to drop a resolution of 1700 /400 for example.
If I understand correctly, compared to your screenshot, you didn't create an animation, in fact you record manipulations done manually in SolidWorks?
Maybe .PL is right, maybe it's the codec that's at fault, try to change your recording resolution with my codec.

This is not really the right use of the SolidWorks animation tool, I advise you to see these tutorials:

Absolutely, I try to make a video capture to show an example of the use of the software.
And indeed, I can use the codec with the resolution you recommended to me, but I get the same problem about the speed
Ok, quite frankly, as .PL says, I'm not used to using animation like this, but I tried it on my machine, and the video duration corresponds well to that of my recording
@mcordero, how do you go about making a demo video? You posted one last time to answer a question

I don't remember who on Lynkoa had offered two free softwares:
CamStudio
http://camstudio.org/
+ TEncoder (to reduce the size)
http://sourceforge.net/projects/tencoder/
Very simple and practical (and not only for SolidWorks)!
