Cross-sectional view and ribs

Hello

I have a cross-sectional view problem under "autodesk inventor", apparently several people have the same problem under other software.

It is a question of making a cross-sectional view that passes through the ribs. You don't have to cut the ribs but the software doesn't make a difference!

Do you have any idea how to do it?

Thanks in advance

Hello

Indeed the subject has already been raised, but it seems to me not solved except by going through "shenanigans" like manually drawing the hatchings

Hello

As indicated in the page below, you cannot exclude bodies in Inventor (unlike in SolidWorks):

The only solution would be to make an assembly... but it is tedious only for the ribs.

Another solution:

Or remove hatching in that region.

From memory, you have to do the same as for the screws. Right-click => hatching => remove the hatching (but I couldn't be more precise. I don't have the software at hand anymore)

To add or remove hatching:

To "delete" the Hatch from a Sketch in a drawing view:

Activate "Fill Hatch"

Select again the same frontier

Deactivate the Hatch Button
