SLDW Layout Sectional View

Hello

Do you know how to make a normal cut to an axis to show the outer face of a cylinder?
In my case, I have a tank with taps, and I want to make a normal cut to my pin to show the outside of my tank to be able to dimension the position and diameter of the taps.
See example below:

Thank you in advance.

Hello Nicolas,

Here may be a little tip that could help =>How to make a half view without a cut in a section view? - #7 by A.R

Good luck.

Draw your sketch line tangent to your circle with a construction line if necessary to align your stitching with your line. Then you select your sketch line and click cut.
Or else edit the cut and you constrain your cut line:

Thank you for your feedback.
@sbadenis your solution is close to what I want.
I sized my basic sketch line in order to define a cutting area except that this one is huge and doesn't take into account this sizing.
Do you know where it can come from?

Hello sbadenis,

You can either add a crop to your view:

Orselect partial cut:

@sbadenis Thank you very much, it works perfectly!
Have a nice day

@AR, that's how we had to do it in the 1st version of SW (draw the sketch)
And now that it's more automated, it still works the old way.
Sion editing the sketch and constraining it is also possible on a normal section:
Select the cut mark, right click and select edit cut line and then in the menu on the left Edit the sketch and constrain it as desired.
