As some of you know, our faithful @zozo_mp said goodbye to us, heading to a well-deserved retirement!
You can send him a message in his post if you haven't already done so: Goodbye (Sniff)
On this occasion, what better way than to reward him with a medal for the top contributors of the forum?
The new design challenge will revolve around the creation of a medal on SOLIDWORKS or CATIA. Design your best medal for zozo_mp: the winning medal will be 3D printed and sent to them! It will also serve as a basis to reward the top contributors of the year 2024!
This medal must be round in shape, with the dimensions imposed in the brief (see the link below). For the inside of the medal you are free to put what you want: links with the values of the community, mutual aid, solidarity... (or zozo_mp's avatar if you wish ) Make this medal a pleasant one to receive!
Exceptionally for this challenge, no prize for the winner, just the pleasure of rewarding the top contributors of the community who help you on a daily basis! The amount allocated for this challenge will be used to buy the material for the medal, to print and to send the prize.
You have from January 23 to March 17, 2024 to participate in this challenge. The winning medal will be revealed starting March 20, 2024.
Thank you all for your enthusiasm! It's @Zozo_mp who will be happy If you ever run out of time, we can extend the duration of the challenge, don't panic, everything is possible! Coralie
You can print in the material you want , everything is possible with 3D printing! Let's say maximum 0.6 cm thick, thanks for the question, I'll add it to the brief!
Thanks for the reverse view. I wanted to see something which is that you managed to separate three layers of Voronoi structure. Bravo and I would even say Bravo!
Small suggestion on the reverse side you have a tiny openwork triangle that may cause you a mini problem when 3D printing.
Thank you for this thank you I had seen this tiny triangle but depending on the technology used it may not be a problem, let's say it's an artist's impression, now between the concept and the final version produced there may be some modifications...
