This is not the question of which question is resolved or not!!! The question is: would there be a way to see the addition of a comment on a question?

I'm not going to go through all my contributions every time to see if there has been a possible change!! Sorry but I have other things to do!! Personally, I'd like something simple, concise and above all quick!!! I come to the page, ok nothing new, period!! I don't come to the page, I load the notifications, no solved: I go through all the questions to see if there are new comments!

Ok I see. Will a system similar to that of groups be suitable for you?

Example:

in the "Groups" menu

There is a "Messages from my groups" tab that lists discussions started in groups you are subscribed to

In this tab, when there is a new discussion: there is a "new" message in red that appears see screenshot below:

Could we imagine doing the same in the "My contributions" and "MY questions" tab?

Possibly, with a notification that appears on the page next to our username.

Before, on the old forum, it just displayed "new message" in the "my contributions" column, it was good, simple and you could see right away if you could (wanted) to go back and see the new thing or not.

Yes, we are noticing the changes little by little, it's good.

 

For a color system, or background highlighting,

for any new read/unread questions, or for any new read/unread messages,

with an option to be able to read all messages on the "Question" page

(it kind of allows you to start from scratch)

It has existed for a long time on other forums, of course for it to work, you have to be logged in. (example: http://forums.audipassion.com/ )

This would save us from having to go through all the questions we are following, to remember the number of answers for each one, to know if a new message is asked or not.

For the notif problem (see screenshot above) I receive 3 emails when only one reply is posted on my subject.

When you subscribe to a topic with a notive + email option, you receive an email when there is a response, everything is normal.

When you are the author of the question, you have by default the notif + email, normal.

But we are automatically subscribed to our own question, so with a rule of notif:

if is subscribed with notif email / if one is the author with notif email =

send a single email.

But I don't understand why I receive 3 of them (see screenshot above):

- 2 with author cm

- 1 with author "nickname of the person who posted the reply"

I just noticed that when @olivier42 put his reply, I didn't receive any email notifications. While he received 3. I'm not jealous, far from it, but could we share??? :)

For my notification settings, on my page, everything is checked, FYI.

 

Another forum point:

When you are on the Notification page, and you click on a message to go to it, you should rather put the link there to go to the last answer please.

EDIT: hey? the formatting underlined "Other forum point" seems to no longer work?

Here's what I asked:

- Have a "New" message as soon as there is a new activity on the page http://www.lynkoa.com/membres/cl%C3%A9mentine/mes-questions

- Find a graphic differentiation for the content read or not. As it is done on a web browser page (bold/not bold, or other color...)

- Olivier, for the notification that refers to the last answer: it's already the case!

- I'm testing the problem of the notifs and getting back to you.

because when I click on the line (which is highlighted), nothing happens

When I click on the nickname, it directs me to the nickname

When I click on topic title, it takes me to the first page.

@olivier42, whether on Edge or Firefox when I click on the title of the topic in the notifications it sends me back to the message concerned, for me this feature is OK.

Ok Olivier, indeed this is effective only on the notifications generated on the people we "follow".

I ask for a correction.

Ah, and what URL links do you have if you hover over with the mouse?

I have IE 11 (Win7 pro), but you can't install everything and anything on the PCs.

ok, on the other hand, I'm going to disable email sending for notifications, I'm getting too many... until it is settled.

EDIT: strange, when I'm on the notification parameter page, if I want to keep the notifications "by the web page, the bell" and just uncheck the sending of emails at the bottom, it deselects everything, it's all or nothing?? !!

Another point:

when we are on the "Question" page basically we have one paragraph per question, it would be nice to have an extra line with "the last answer/ the author", and the fact that we can click on it takes us to the last page.

- I reproduced the email notifications and reported this bug! It's a behavior bug for sure.

- For notifications, it's just emails. You'll always get the notifications in the bell, no matter what you've checked.

- Ok I understand the request for the Question page, we should reproduce the same behavior as on groups, with the last answer posted. I propose thank you

Also, it would be nice to be able to have, on the "Question" page,

When the question is in progress, an icon in front of the title of the question, of the same pixel dimension (in the form of a question point for example gray color), so that the titles will be aligned

And a background of different color (very light green) when the question is solved,

will make it easier for users to read the overall game.

I was also wondering if we could have a "live chat" corner for those who have a certain level, seniority, activity, number of points, in the forum.

 

So Problem, in the notif parameter page, to uncheck when I click on the box, nothing happens, when the click on the text, it activates/deactivates the box,

but above all there is no button to apply, validate, on the page, result my change is not taken into account (and I receive my batches of 3 messages, lol)

 

Another point: in the creation of a new subject, changed the titles of the panels,

(field N°1)

Short title of the question (with a character limit )

(field N°2)

Question

(etc...)

This will prevent certain things...

 

Another remark: in the question page, the tags seem to be badly positioned, truncate the end of the topic title, and when I hover with the mouse, it repositions the tags...

 

Other remarks: in page 1 of a question, the number of pages displayed below stops at 5, even if there are more...

EDIT: another remark, when you put an image, with a redefined size, in the message editing window, it takes the right size, but once the message is validated, the size of the image is no longer taken into account...

Hello

Does it also do you when one of your answers validated as the best changes status and is no longer the best or am I punished?

This takes away 2 times the points from the best answer status.

It must be said that I received the notification email 2 times, 1 time for the change of status and maybe 1 second time because the person who has the new answer validated as the best is a person I follow!!!
