Hello

I haven't gone through the whole subject but for most of the problems encountered it is simply a question of method.

if you carry out a non-normal material removal on the surface of the Solidworks part, you don't know how to unfold it, and that's normal because this is not feasible in reality...

To solve your problem, I can't advise you to work on a surface (the skin of the part) and then thicken it. In this way, your material removal will be normal on the cylindrical surface.

For a wolf's mouth you can also use the "Bent-base sheet" function and in the direction(s) select "to the surface", having taken care to position the sketch plane correctly and to have left an opening in the outline of the tube.
