We sometimes have problems with the SolidWorks icons (both in the trunk and outside) when installing a workstation.
It seems to me that I have already seen a topic dealing with this subject on the forum, but it never got a response that worked and the topic was abandoned.
Our info service will also look for the problem and maybe reinstall my computer a third time...
So do you have any idea where the problem may come from?
We also have this problem, we went from Solidworks 2015 to 2016 and when we re-register it works. It's clear that we haven't done everything but as we work on the projects we do it.
Ok, I tested it anyway, but that doesn't solve the problem.
The strange thing is that this does not happen on all positions. When the computer scientist installed mine, on her Windows session the icons were visible and as soon as I connected to mine everything disappeared.
So she tried to reinstall my PC with my session, but the icons didn't work.
An IT guy tried to repair SW and reinstall the PDM. That didn't solve the problem.
