New metallurgy collective agreement

Hello @pheitz
The minimum level for beginner managers is F11. So all new engineers who graduate should be hired at least in F11.

@froussel You can be an engineer and not be an executive

Hello @geoffrey1

Well, no:

And definition of level 7 (via Definition - National Framework for Professional Qualifications | INSEE):

So normally no metallurgy company should have a bac+5 below the F11 level.
So an engineer will necessarily have a managerial status even if he doesn't supervise anyone.

Another wacky and ambiguous thing: "When the job offer mentions the requirement", does it mean that if your offer doesn't impose it, you don't have to?

@geoffrey1
Like BTS, DUT or Engineer level, and as there is no mini engineer requirement, hop it goes cream → D7😁 level
Edit:
And of course all CVs below engineering = trash!

That's exactly what @geoffrey. The importance of words^^
This is how we find "desired" and not "imperative" engineering level^^

Everything is negotiated at the time of hiring, so the ranking/job description too. It is up to each person to value their diplomas and experiences.
In practice, the ranking is rarely important because people are generally paid well above the minimum of the grid (in my 20 years of career, I have only known one engineer who found himself raised each year thanks to the revaluation of the conventional grid). This is not necessarily true for less qualified occupations where you must surely be in line with the collective agreement.
In principle, it is not stupid to ask for a classification whose remuneration is slightly lower than the negotiated salary (you still have to remain consistent about the level requested).

To confirm the discussion I also went to E9, my first rating was at D8 but after negotiation with my manager and HR we were moved to E9, we are 4 technicians in case.

The same goes for it. 1pts away from passing E10 ... It just goes to show that it's better to recount yourself  !

@coin37coin and @RICO_BZH I'm very happy for you, I soon have an appointment with HR and my boss to discuss it, fingers crossed...

For my part, I was classified E9 from the rating, which corresponds to assimilated executives.

If you were not an executive or equivalent executive, were you asked to change your mutual insurance and provident fund to become an executive?

@Loïc.R: Yes... and then no news since!

@DoubleL, prepare the points table well with what you understand in front of you. Here, we regained 4 points easily and 1 after discussion.
Anyway, as they rate a position and not a person ... It's much easier to discuss since it's factual
It's for the evolutions after that that it's going to be complicated though! That's why you have to go right away.
Fingers crossed for you

Hello friends,

mine has just fallen; I'm E10. Which seems pretty good :innocent: :innocent: to me :innocent:

Yes, it's not bad.
In our BE we are E9 and we went back to our HR to say that we didn't agree and that we should be E10 (with justifications) and since then radio silence.

@ac_cobra_427 , they will have taken the time... almost 6 months late! But hey, at least the grade is pretty consistent

@Pierre_Sauvée it's a shame on their part, they're supposed to give you an answer to your questions. It says a lot about their consideration of " human resources".
I don't know if you have unions in your area, but maybe you can submit the problem to them?

@coin37coin The union is on the case, but for the moment it's on standby. I feel that this thing won't succeed.

I have the impression that your feelings are good^^

After many negotiations I won... 1 point on the autonomy criterion which changes absolutely nothing and I remain at the maximum of my FDE, D8
