Hello, I have a problem with the tapping of a part that is represented more or less correctly in the drawing of the part but which is totally off the plate in the drawing of the assembly. The tapping is 35mm on a 235mm hole made with the drilling wizard.
Hello pascal.label, Indeed it's a bit weird. Uh, I'd say, how did you make this thread? Either by inserting thread annotation on the 3D directly or with a tapped drilling function? Because with the function it should work, but with the thread annotation inserted directly in the 3d, you have to check if you put unobstructing or through all. For me you put one-eyed with a length of 35. Well my post is being processed, so it's impossible to take screenshots for you.
Re hello pascal.label, Yes indeed it's weird!! It is a 1/2 long 35mm gas tap. I will add that the gas threads and threads are standardized, so that's why there is this representation. I look at it, we keep ourselves informed. Well that's it for the tapped length for gas thread, just for information =>
Thank you for the answers... The representation of the part is correct and I use the same basemap for the assembly with the same parameters, since the box "allow thread representations for upgrading" is checked, I don't see where the problem comes from.
Well I just tested, the behavior is the same whether it's the part or the assembly. It smells like a good big bug for families. The drawing module at SW is the poor relation.
By importing the model objects it works, something you don't have to do in the drawing of the part!! Weird this thing though. I'm on SW2021, is it the same in 2022/ 2023??? Thank you.
