Hello
You make a 3d sketch and select the int edge of your part, then you exit the sketch. You create a sketch on the face where you have the shape and convert the int part of the profile, and then you exit your sketch again. Then you use the swept bent sheet metal function. Then you will do a click said on list of welded parts and delete/keep the body and you will delete the other part and voila.
Hello
Want something with a helical shape? Or a twisted blade like a boat propeller?
All this if you already have the part.
Simply replace the converted edge of the part with a helicoid curve, or a 3D spline, or perform a torsional sweep
Thanks a.Leblanc, I modified it ;-)
To edit??? You have to be classy!! I'm kidding, at the bottom of your post there is time and next to it there is edit. You click on it and you can correct your mistakes...
Class, I hadn't seen that!
I created a profile and a hellicoidal trajectory but when I do bent sheet metal swept --> ERROR
I can't download your part, did you wait for the loading to finish before exiting?
Hello
@a.leblanc right-click save the link as by download a step by Lynkoa otherwise by default it tries to open it and therefore opens the html text editor.

Did you manage to open the room?
Hello
I don't think this is feasible because how do you make this part in folding in reality?

Yes, I have just looked at your piece, and indeed Fbrigard is right, this piece must be composed of two bodies welded together.
OK
But how do you do both pieces with the sheet metal menu?
After several tries I didn't succeed, but I managed to do it flat without the 150 stretch. The only solution I can see is to make a stamping tool. After that, your piece will unfold...
